Application Profiles Law School Objects to Hassles of Internal Direct Mail A leading New Jersey legal documentation consulting firm needed to develop a questionairre to efficiently update information for the Alumni Directory of a distinguished law school in the Northeast. The Challenge Due to the scope of the project, the law school wanted to outsource the data collection and reconciliation. The Solution Miami Systems Corporation presented multiple solutions for the questionairre, and a six-part mailer was selected. Miami Systems printed the mailer, which included a four-page questionairre and a built-in return envelope. Using computer tapes provided by the law school, Miami Systems personalized the outgoing envelope and two pages of the questionairre.We then mailed the questionnaire through our in-house postal substation. The program provided quicker and larger percentage response rates than ever before. The consulting firm's Manager Director noted: "the mailer design, production and fulfillment were first rate.
