Application Profiles Payroll Firm Discovers Rewards of Print Management Program A metropolitan New York payroll processor, the largest of its kind in the world, processes payroll around the clock, handling millions of forms each day. The Challenge Squeezed by limited storage space at their Wall Street location, they wanted to phase out their warehouse by replacing it with a JIT Just-In-Time delivery program for their printed items. To satisfy the demands of their daily operations, the customer wanted to be able to order their forms and printed pieces by 8:30 a.m. each morning and have the items delivered by noon the same day. The Solution They turned to Miami Systems for their help in setting up a Print Management Program. After reviewing and analyzing their print usage requirements and available storage space, Miami Systems Corporation, produced their printed materials in cost-effective quantities and stored them in their New Jersey warehouse complex. Each morning, our Miami Systems sales office receives that day's requisition, processes the order, pulls from stock and loads the printed materials onto our delivery truck for Wall Street delivery at 11:30 a.m. By utilizing a small truck and mechanized miniature forklift, we are able to deliver skids of printed materials right to the customer's dock. Miami Systems keeps a watchful eye on all inventory levels for this customer and makes sure stock is replenished as needed -- making sure that we always deliver on time as promised!
